The Basic Skills project offers tuition to any resident who wishes or needs to develop greater skills in the areas of numeracy, literacy, money work and a host of other skills essential to modern day living. Tuition is offered by staff, all of whom have received specialist training in this field and is delivered at home or in our resource centre. Funding was originally provided by the Lloyds TSB Foundation for the Channel Islands for the first four years. A recent donation for a further five years funding has been gratefully received from donors who wish to remain anonymous.
